Aston Martin Heritage Racing

My business created Aston Martin Heritage Racing’s website to perform like the DB-9 yet be reliable as a Toyota.

Case Study

The Aston Martin Heritage Racing site needed to be more than just an events site, it had to combine e-commerce, hospitality management, and track information while also showcasing the heritage and prestige of Aston Martin’s racing history.

Basics

What I built

What I built

  • Bespoke hospitality features: managing cars, teams, guests, and all the fiddly but important details like allergies, preferences, and VIP requirements.

  • Track maps and itineraries, built directly into the CMS for quick updates.

  • An interactive heritage timeline, showcasing Aston Martin’s racing history in a way that reflects the brand’s prestige.

  • Custom WordPress e-commerce add-ons, tailored specifically for the event requirements (the sort you won’t find in a plugin directory).

  • A fully bespoke CMS and theme built on Zurb Foundation, prioritising accessibility, SEO, and performance.

The process

I worked closely with my in-house design team, taking their Figma designs and translating them into a ground-up WordPress build. As usual, this build was a from-scratch system, built to scale with the unique demands of the events and the brand.
