Photography

I’ve always been a shutterbug, these days I’m mainly large format film based and digital.

I tend to lurk with a digital rangefinder for more candid street and travel, but have and can take normal assignments in digital. I have done this for Island Sailing Club, Austin Reed and others in the past.

My passion is working with large format film photography. This allows me to have real time to think about the composition and how I will then develop and print the photos.

Large format is favoured by architects, designers, editorial and landscape for its unique method of utilising movements within the camera that allows for corrections in Depth of field and perspective in a superior way to digital.

It’s also expensive, smelly, heavy and time-consuming, but I love it.
